Candy Canes and the City

Yesterday we travelled to Gränna the home of the candy cane! Yes you read right, the small town, about 20 minutes drive from Jönköping, is the place where the red and white striped lolly was created.
As you could probably guess there were many lolly shops with countless varities on the candy and at some you could see them getting made!
We had lunch by the lake, although it was a freezing 8 degrees (bring on the Australian summer).
Last night we had some beers and stayed at Marci's apartment which is in the heart of Jönköping.
Today, we head into the city.

The land of the candy canes hey. Did you eat any while you were there?
You haven't said anything about the moulin rouge, how was it? Did you have an awsome b'day, pretty hard not to when your in Paris i guess.
Love the photo of you and Jem drinking beer, the photo says it all.
Well say hi to Jem, Kel and Alex and think of me at work while you drinking as much beer as you can. cant wait to see your next installment of photos and blogs. Love you long time Bel

We ate some lollypop things, but no candy canes!
I had an awesome birthday. We didn't end up going to the Moulin Rouge as it was booked out for a week. We ended up going to an Irish bar instead, which was pretty awesome. There was a French guy playing cover songs and he did the best version of Jeff Buckley's Hallejulah!
Hope things are great back at home. See you in a couple of weeks!
